Just listened to the newest podcast from the Lost producers. Every now and then, they'll give us nice treats and secrets that others might never hear if they don't listen to the podcast. Here's a few of the interesting things they talked about and covered.
* We will find out before the end of the season whether or not Ben is telling the truth to Locke about Charles Widmore (Penny's Dad) and whether or not it's Charles' boat and Charles is trying to do bad things with the island that Ben is trying to protect. They kind of eluded to the fact that Ben might not be telling the truth about Charles Widmore which wouldn't surprise me at all.
* They talked about other side LOST projects like the new Lost video game and the website find815.com and whether or not they play a vital part to the show. The answer was NO. They put a lot of time and effort into the side projects and all the extra stuff but they really aren't that important in following the show. To really follow the show, all you need to do is watch the show. The extra stuff is just for us sickos that need more than 1 hour per week.
* We will be seeing more of Christian Shephard (Jack's Dad) in the future episodes. And YES it was him in Jacob's cabin.
* The smoke monster will be coming back soon and they'll keep trying to evolve the black smoke everytime they show it.
* The producers aren't interested in the "in a snowglobe" or "just a dream" theory. They said sometimes characters will have different dream-like themes but there will be no point where someone like Jack will just wake up in bed and it will all have been a dream. So that's refreshing to hear. It's still going to be amazing to see how they end this series in the next few seasons.
That's all...nothing too major really but still interesting.
I can't wait for tomorrow's Lost. We already know that someone slips Sahid and Desmond a note on the boat that says "Don't trust the captain". It's pretty much a given that whoever slipped the note under the door to them is Ben's "man on the boat" that he said he had. So, I've been racking my brain to try to think of all possible options of who it could be because the preview says "someone you didn't expect to see again". Here's some possibilities.
MICHAEL - He's my pick. Him and Walt left on the boat So long ago and haven't been heard from since. Ben gave Michael the same coordinates that Faraday gave Frank to fly the helicopter to the boat. So, I'm thinking Michael took Walt in the boat, followed the coordinates, ended up on the boat because he thought they were there to save them and now he's stuck on the boat. It would make a lot of sense too if Michael had some sort of deal worked out with Ben where he would spy on the boat for Ben in exchange for something else that probably has to do with Walt.
WALT - For pretty much the same reasons that it could be Michael on the boat, it could be Walt. Maybe even a bonus, it could be grown up Walt that Locke keeps seeing. OR, maybe since there was some weird time/electro thing going on when the helicopter hit the coordinates to the boat, the same happened to Walt and Michael when they took the little boat to the coordinates and that's why there is grown up Walt. Ben has always taking a liking to Walt too and knows about his special powers.
CHARLIE - Well, we shouldn't expect Charlie to be the man on the boat but Lost has been known to throw us some pretty messed up curve balls every now and then. Charlie DID appear to be alive in the flash-forward with Hurley at the mental home. And we all know now from the past few episodes that there is a weird time/space thingy going on that might have some how cause Charlie's death to not really be what it seemed and somehow BAM, he's on the boat. Farfetched, but it would be the shock the producers are looking for.
BEN - Going back to my previous rabbit theory...Ben is just like Desmond and Faraday and can essentially be in 2 places at the same time but he's got it more under control and can be on the boat and on the island simultaneously. Again, probably not, but it's possible for Ben to be his own man on the boat I guess. Sometimes I tell myself secrets, shhhhhhh.
BOONE - LOL...kidding...

We all know he's there and We saw him in Jacob's cabin. I had a suspision he was alive from the begining but is he in on it... and for that matter why did Claire want to speak to Miles so badly... does she know him...Was she a plant from the begining...nobody would expect the pregnant girl. and She is Christian's daughter...just saying is all...
