So yesterday my brother, his fiance, and I went to the Big Butler Fair. I've always wanted to go and actually get in. The last time was about 10 years ago when my Dad pulled up to the lot and the traffic was 100 cars deep to even park resulting in heading back home fair-less. So I couldn't turn down the offer when it came up again. It was a messy, muddy, stormy horrible weather day, but we still stuck around. There were no lines for rides, games, food, anything! So that was pretty cool. When we pulled up I instantly saw the rides. So not what I expected for a carnival. About five of them could potentially be more thrilling than anything you would ride at Kennywood. Makes you even wonder how safe they are. I overheard someone saying that the biggest ride took 2 hours to put together completely. Oh well, we rode them anyways. I think the Fair runs until sometime at the end of this week but I could be wrong- def. something to check out! Time for me to go throw away a pair of shoes, socks, and scrub myself- goodnight!
